CUTE HALLOWEEN - a set of six original prints Six illustrated prints drawn to hang together. A black cat asleep on a pumpkin, three little ghosts drifting through an orchard, a street of trick-or-treaters in homemade costumes, a witch's window with a candle burning - and two hand-lettered prints to tie the wall together. Everything is drawn by hand and printed in the style of a 1950s offset lithograph: limited flat inks, visible halftone texture, a little ink misregistration, all sitting on a warm cream paper ground. The palette is deliberately soft - faded terracotta, warm brown, oatmeal, muted moss, soft charcoal. It reads as Halloween without turning your room orange and black, so it earns its place from September right through November.
